Every Afghan Aqcha rug carries a story you can never quite pin down, and that is a big part of its charm. Hand-knotted from 100% wool in the area surrounding Aq Chah in northern Afghanistan, the Aqcha is a simpler cousin of the famous Khal Mohammadi design. Expect deep, welcoming reds detailed in dark blue or black, with rich colour drawn from vegetable and other natural dyes.
